Our Company
Energy Resources, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Paul Reinhardt as a coal recovery company. Paul developed gravity and sizing separation techniques to clean up coal waste ponds and sell the processed material.
In 1988, due to a changing energy market, Energy Resources left coal recovery to focus on contract dredging. Today, dredging remains our only business. Most of our early work focused on projects in the Midwest and the state of Florida; however, due to portability of our equipment, Energy Resources completes dredging projects throughout the country.
In 1994, Nadine Reinhardt, Paul’s wife, officially joined Energy Resources to manage the finances of the business. When Paul and Nadine bought out the company’s remaining investors in 2011, Nadine became the majority shareholder and president.
Paul and Nadine’s son, Michael joined Energy Resources in 2017 as our Lead Engineer.
We are incredibly grateful to run this small business, through all its ups and downs, as a family. We are thankful for our dedicated employees and grateful to the many customers who have entrusted their canals, lakes, and commercial-cleanup to us.
